What do I need to start my diving experience?
Virtually anyone who is in good health, and reasonably fit, and also comfortable in the water can gain the PADI Open Water Diver Certification here with us in Colchester Essex. We can supply all the Scuba Diving equipment and gear you need to get you your PADI Qualification. Once you have this qualification the world is your Oyster!!
What will I do during my SCUBA Diving lesson?
Throughout this course, you’ll learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques and underwater skills. You earn this rating by completing Five Pool Training Dives, known as Confined Water Training, and knowledge development sessions and by making Four Open Water Dives. How long will it take to get my certificate?
PADI programs are performance based. As you proceed you will demonstrate mastery of the course skills. This allows you to work at a pace that is comfortable for you, we are very relaxed in our training, and we put no one under any pressure what so ever. The course in total lasts around 5 weeks, 1 evening a week with a 2 Day Open Water Qualifier. If you prefer we can just complete your Pool Training (Confined Water) in Colchester, and then you will be given a Referral Form to complete your Open Water Qualification while on Holiday. We can also offer intensive Scuba Diving Courses over two weekends at Colchester Leisure World if you are short on time, and you would still like to learn to dive before you set foot on sunny shores for your holiday.
